Different shades are key, don’t stress out about finding the exact color match for each article of clothing. But collect an array of different tones and they will most definitely compliment each other.

Autumn is coming, and with it, temperature drops (hopefully/praying), falling leaves for most (sorry Florida) and pumpkin spice everything (everywhere). 

With autumn also comes a wardrobe change, and layers are KEY! 

Here are four essential outwear pieces that will elevate every person’s wardrobe and will stand the test of time while simultaneously presenting you as the chic and effortless style icon you aspire be. 

The Trench 

Classic. Timeless. Chic. Everyone should have a trench coat in their closet. Start with a neutral or basic, like tan, black, or navy. It will dress up ANY outfit and be an investment you will wear for years to come. 

The Denim Jacket 

This has been a trend since the 1960s and has never stopped being a fashion staple. It’s like the Cher of fashion. It just keeps going and it looks just as good as it always did. Unlike the one and only Cher…I recommend having a FEW denim jackets; fitted, oversized, distressed, light, dark, the options are endless. The Chunky Sweater 

Comfy, Cozy, oversized, and the epitome of autumn style. Everyone saw Chris Evans rocking his distressed chunky sweater in the movie “Knives Out” and the internet almost broke. Any color will do but I recommend an off-white or neutral to begin with. Pair with leggings or fitted jeans and you have yourself a quick and comfortable autumn look that can be easily dressed up or down depending on your accessories.
