For the homework this week, referencing the list of Greek and Norse deities in Module Eleven, allow your intuition to draw you to at least one deity from each list. (If you’re feeling inspired you could include one god and one goddess from each list!) Once you’ve identified which deity you feel intuitively resonate with, take some time to do a little research on them; Even a simple wikipedia search will give you ample history and origin stories of these deities to begin with, and there are countless blogs, podcasts, and other online resources to inform you of traditional ways of worship specific deities, types of offerings usually associated with that god or goddess, and time honored ways to call on them within the framework of your magical endeavors.

If, through your research, you find that you are even more drawn to this deity, then it’s time to start a conversation. Remember, this entire month’s work is about recruiting, identifying, communing with, and eventually working with ally energies, and so, just as you asked your ancestors and spirit guides if they wanted to join your spiritual support team, you can follow the same process to determine if deities want to work with you.

Find an icon, statue, or simply print out an image of the deity with which you want to work. Light a candle and some incense and leave a small offering for them. Invite them to meet you and ask them for a specific sign by end of day if they are willing to work with you as a spiritual ally. Follow the same format of assigning and asking for signs from the module nine homework.
