Pre-Retreat Preparation  

Our time together is drawing near! The focus of gathering in The Inner Circle is to witness the power of the transformational story; the stories we hear that influence our lives, the stories we tell that influence the lives of those around us, and, maybe most importantly, the stories we live that influence the legacy we are creating.

Perhaps you feel as though you don’t have influence, or a story worth telling. Maybe you feel that your story is not important in the grand scheme of things. The truth is that your story is the most powerful tool you have in changing your life and impacting the lives of those around you. Whether you are a teacher, a healer, a writer, a speaker, a parent, an entrepreneur, or an advocate for love and peace in your relationships and the world around you, your story holds more power than perhaps you are aware.

This weekend together we will be drawing upon the stories of our experience, the stories of our ancestors, and the stories that we are still writing by virtue of our thoughts, beliefs, and actions to gain clarity and power to embrace the metaphorical pen and write the life story that you desire to be told.

In preparation for, and to make the most of your experience in The Inner Circle, please take some time this week to contemplate and write on the following journal prompts:

  • What is the craziest thing that happened to you last year?

  • What is the scariest thing that has happened to you?

  • What is your proudest moment?

  • Tell me about the most important moment in your life. How did that moment change you?

  • Write about a time when you felt successful. What happened that led to your success?

  • Describe your favorite place in the entire world. How do you feel when you are there?

  • Think about the best day you have ever had. What happened on that day that made it so great?

We can’t wait to see you and to hear the stories that have brought you to this point of your life, and we are so looking forward to helping you to discover the tools to create new, intentional, and empowered stories that are yet to be told.
